Digital Resources Librarian

£23,000 - £30,000 • 6-month maternity cover with possibility of extension

It’s an exciting time to be at the National Maritime Museum. As part of the launch of our major new Sammy Ofer Wing, we’re developing our use of electronic resources and digital media. Our goal is to reach, engage and inspire ever-wider audiences as we deliver information direct to people’s desktops.

Right now we need a proactive and forward-thinking professional to develop and manage this area and drive it forward. Planning and developing new online resources and digital solutions, you will enhance access to our archive and library collections. In other words you’ll be key to changing the way we work, delivering library materials in fresh and innovative ways.

Experience and Skills

A professionally qualified librarian, you must bring sound experience of working with library management systems, cataloguing and electronic resources. Proven people management skills would be ideal.
